<p>2024年4月，中法建交60周年之际，习近平主席在北京会见了法国梅里埃基金会主席阿兰·梅里埃。</p>

<p>为感谢国际社会对中国改革开放事业的支持和帮助，习近平主席曾向10位国际友人颁授“中国改革友谊奖章”。法国人阿兰·梅里埃获得了编号为001的荣誉证书。</p>

<p>1978年，阿兰·梅里埃第一次来到中国，向中国科研界推介疫苗。这一次行程成了他与中国几十年友好合作的开始。</p>

<p>1986年，阿兰·梅里埃担任法国奥弗涅—罗讷—阿尔卑斯大区议会副主席期间，和上海缔结了文化科技交流合作协议，进一步加强了中法医疗科研领域的合作。此后，梅里埃和他的法国同事，频繁往返中法之间。</p>

<p>在梅里埃的推动下，生物梅里埃在疫苗、医疗诊断、免疫和传染病防治等领域与中国开展广泛合作。在共同应对公共卫生事件中，梅里埃基金会走在和中国医疗事业合作的前列。</p>

<p>年过80，梅里埃希望与中国在更广阔的领域展开合作，共同援助非洲等地区，改善当地的医疗环境，提高民众健康水平。</p>
